Businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs across Fermanagh and Omagh are being encouraged to take advantage of a packed programme of free support and learning opportunities during Enterprise Week 2026, taking place from Monday 16 to Friday 20 November.
All events are either supported or organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. The week features 12 events over five days, delivered both online and at venues across the District.
One of the flagship events is “Side Hustle: From Passion to Profit”, taking place on Monday 16 November at The Workhouse, Enniskillen. Participants will hear from Anna McGurn of Muddy Fingers, who transformed her creative passion into a successful marketing, content creation and collaboration. Participants will leave with realistic and actionable ideas to help attract visitors, strengthen their business offer and support the wider destination.
Businesses and entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to access support directly through a Business Support Drop-In Clinic at Invest NI’s offices, Omagh. Representatives from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Invest Northern Ireland and South West College will be available to discuss business ideas, growth opportunities, innovation and the range of support programmes available.
The programme also includes Digital Transformation: Tools for Business Growth at the Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh on Tuesday 17 November. This practical workshop will help businesses explore how AI and digital tools can address challenges, enhance customer experiences and support growth, while identifying practical opportunities for implementation within their own organisations.
Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Debbie Coyle said:
“Global Enterprise Week provides a valuable opportunity for businesses, entrepreneurs and anyone considering starting a business to access free advice, practical support and expertise.
With 12 events taking place over five days, this year’s programme covers a broad range of topics reflecting both the opportunities and challenges facing businesses today.
Supporting a strong and resilient local economy is important to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, and we would encourage businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs from across the District to explore the programme and take advantage of the support available.”
All events during Enterprise Week are free to attend, although advance registration is required for some sessions.
